Service Description
Illinois Pest Control provides professional pest management and extermination services to residential and commercial properties throughout the State of Illinois. Our services include, but are not limited to, inspection, identification, treatment, and monitoring of common pests such as ants, termites, rodents, bed bugs, cockroaches, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, and other nuisance wildlife. Treatment methods may involve chemical applications, baiting systems, trapping, exclusion techniques, and integrated pest management strategies tailored to the specific conditions of your property. All service appointments must be scheduled in advance, and customers must provide safe access to all areas requiring treatment. Service frequencies, warranties on treatments, and specific protocols will be outlined in your individual service agreement or invoice. We reserve the right to refuse service to any property that poses safety risks to our technicians or where environmental conditions preclude effective treatment.
No Guarantee or Warranty
Illinois Pest Control makes no absolute guarantee of complete pest elimination or prevention. Pest control results depend on numerous factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: weather conditions, structural integrity of buildings, neighboring property conditions, customer cooperation with preparation and follow-up instructions, reinfestation from external sources, and the biology and behavior of target pest species. Any service warranties or retreatment guarantees, if offered, are limited to the specific terms, time periods, and conditions expressly stated in your written service agreement. General recommendations provided during consultations do not constitute guaranteed outcomes. We do not warrant against future infestations, damage caused by pests before or after treatment, or the complete eradication of hidden pest populations in inaccessible areas.
User Responsibilities
As a customer of Illinois Pest Control, you agree to cooperate fully with all preparation requirements, safety instructions, and post-treatment guidelines provided by our technicians. You must disclose all known health conditions, allergies, pregnancies, or sensitivities of household members or pets prior to chemical applications. You are responsible for removing or protecting food, dishes, pet supplies, children's toys, and other sensitive items before treatment. Access to the property must be granted at scheduled times, or rescheduled with reasonable advance notice. Failure to follow safety protocols, such as re-entry timelines after treatment, is at your own risk. You must inform us of prior pest control treatments, ongoing renovations, or structural issues that may affect service efficacy. Payment is due according to the terms specified on your invoice, and returned payments or overdue balances may incur additional fees and suspension of service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Illinois Pest Control and its officers, employees, agents, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to property damage, loss of profits, personal injury, emotional distress, or business interruption arising from or related to our services, regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from or relating to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies to all causes of action, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory. You acknowledge that pest control treatments involve inherent risks, and our pricing reflects this allocation of risk.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, trademarks, service marks, logos, trade names, photographs, videos, written materials, treatment protocols, and proprietary methodologies displayed on our website, marketing materials, or provided during service consultations are the exclusive intellectual property of Illinois Pest Control or its licensors. You are granted no license or right to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or display any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent. Any unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action under federal and Illinois state law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service and any disputes arising from or relating to your use of Illinois Pest Control services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue on the grounds of forum non conveniens or any similar doctrine. The Illinois Commercial Code and applicable consumer protection statutes shall supplement these terms where applicable.
